Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Snapsy Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Snapsy”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the Snapsy mobile applications and website. By registering an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Snapsy
Snapsy is a hyper-local on-demand services marketplace that connects customers (“Users”) with independent service providers (“Helpers”) for various tasks within urban India. Snapsy acts solely as a technology platform and does not directly employ Helpers or provide the underlying services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to form a binding contract.
3. Account Registration
Accounts are created via OTP-based phone verification. You agree to provide accurate information and are solely responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at hello@snapsy.co.in.
4. Bookings & Services
- Pricing shown in the app includes the service fee, platform fee, and applicable GST.
- Surge pricing may apply during peak demand periods.
- For online payments (UPI/card), the amount is charged only after you confirm job completion via OTP. For cash, you pay the helper directly after the job is done.
- Cancellation fees may apply once a helper has been assigned. The current fee is shown in the app before you confirm cancellation.
- Snapsy is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed by Helpers.
5. Payments
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Snapsy does not store full card or UPI credentials.
- Helper payouts are processed via bank transfer or UPI subject to platform commission and payout cycles.
- Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
6. Helper Obligations
- Helpers must complete KYC verification (Aadhaar document, PAN document, selfie) before activation.
- Helpers are independent contractors, not employees of Snapsy.
- Helpers must maintain professional conduct and comply with Snapsy's quality and safety standards.
- Helpers are responsible for their own tax obligations on earnings.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Using the platform for unlawful purposes.
- Harassment, abuse, or threats toward other users or Helpers.
- Providing false information or impersonating others.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer or interfere with the platform.
- Booking services with no intention to pay.
8. Ratings & Reviews
After each booking, both Users and Helpers may rate each other. Ratings must be honest and not defamatory. Snapsy reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
9. Termination
Snapsy may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for operational reasons, with or without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by emailing hello@snapsy.co.in with subject "Delete My Account".
10. Limitation of Liability
Snapsy's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking giving rise to the claim. Snapsy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income or data. The Services are provided “as-is” without any warranty.
11. Intermediary Status (IT Act 2000)
Snapsy operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021. Snapsy does not initiate, select, or modify the content of transactions between Users and Helpers. We will comply with lawful government and court orders within the timelines mandated by applicable law.
12. User Consent
By registering on the Snapsy platform via OTP verification, you provide free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
13. Force Majeure
Snapsy shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, internet or telecommunications failures, or strikes.
14. Consumer Grievance (Consumer Protection Act 2019)
As an e-commerce entity under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, we are committed to resolving consumer grievances within 48 hours of acknowledgement and within 30 days of receipt. Contact our Grievance Officer at hello@snapsy.co.in. Unresolved grievances may be escalated to the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
